The Grand Strand is known for warm weather and triple-digits in the summer, this year the city woke up to a Winter Wonderland! Last week we saw almost 5 inches! No one was expecting it to really happen! As the snow fell all night, a calming and peaceful feeling surrounded us.
The weather is one of the biggest reasons people already live here or retire here. There is no need for snow shovels, snow boots, or snow machines. We live our lives in flip flops on jetskiis with a fishing pole in our hand. Seeing the snow on the sand firsthand is something that one does not get to see very often. Watching children who have never seen snow and only get to dream about it like children who have never seen the ocean was priceless. Even some of our furry friends didn't know what to make of it! Feel free to post some of your snowy pics from the Grand Strand!!
