Parks Galore

North Myrtle Beach & Myrtle Beach are filled with many different parks for families to enjoy. Let’s see what a few locals’ favorites are below.

Radical Ropes Adventure Park – This ropes adventure park is fun for the whole family. They have not only rope courses for the older kids but also, the younger kids. Zip lines and rock walls are climbing available as well.

Family Kingdom Amusement Park – Myrtle Beaches’ oldest amusement park is still operating today. They have rides that everyone in the family will love and want to continue to ride over and over.

The Funplex – The Funplex is a new amusement park here on the Grand Strand, but we can’t miss telling you about it. They offer rides like Hook & Slice, Up & Overboard, and Sunny Day Swing, something for everyone.

Myrtle Waves – If you’re looking for a waterpark, check out Myrtle Waves. They are located near the Sam’s Club and Broadway at the Beach, but it’s a hit with many families. Some of the things that the older kids will love are the FlowRider, and Wave Pool, along with all the slides. The younger kids have play areas; the whole family will love it.

Gardens By the Sea – This park is excellent for bringing the kids to play. It has a beautiful playground along with swings. The beach is right there if the kids feel like playing in the sand. This is located at 5506 N Ocean Blvd, Myrtle Beach, SC.

The Hulk – This park is the Horry County Bike & Run Park located at 150 Frontage Rd B-2, Myrtle Beach. Bring your bikes out to the park and hit up the many trails that this park has to offer.

Matt Hughes Skate Park – If you’re looking for a fun skateboard park, then Matt Hughes Skate Park is perfect. There is also a pretty awesome playground for the younger kids in the family to play at while the older ones skate.
